On March 29, Ambassador Chen Bo met with Chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Ognjen Tadić.
Chen Bo briefed Tadić on the “Two Sessions” of the National People’s Congress and Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, speech of President Xi Jinping at the first session of the 13th National People’s Congress, main conclusions of the Government report presented by Premier Li Keqiang, changes to the Constitution, establishment of the National Supervisory Commission and other important results.
Tadić congratulated on the success of the “Two Sessions” and fruitful results. He gave high grade to China’s efforts in reforms of the mechanism and system, as well as enhancement of supervision mechanism, voicing expectation that China will continue to play a positive role in international affairs.
Tadić highlighted that the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH would continue the friendly cooperation and exchange with the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
The interlocutors exchanged views on improving people-to-people exchange and cooperation between the two countries in all areas.
