Main points in the Agreement between PRC and BIH on Mutual Exemption of Visas for Holders of Ordinary Passport

Starting from 29th May 2018, the citizens of the People's Republic of China, holders of valid ordinary passport of the People's Republic of China and the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, holders of valid ordinary passports of Bosnia and Herzegovina, shall be exempted from visa requirement for entry into, exit from, stay in or transit through the territory of the other Contracting Party during the period of stay up to ninety (90) days in any one-hundred-and eighty (180)-day period which entails considering the 180-day period preceding each day of stay. However, citizens of either Contracting Party who want to enter into and stay in the territory of the state of the other Contracting Party for a period longer than ninety (90) days in any one-hundred-and eighty (180)-day period, or to study, engage in employment, media activities or other activities which shall be approved in advance by the competent authorities of the other Contracting party, shall apply for and obtain an appropriate visa prior to entering the territory of the state of the other Contracting Party.

Special note: Citizens of either Contracting Party who want to apply for the resident permit should apply and obtain, prior to entering the territory of the state of the other Contracting Party, an appropriate visa in accordance with the laws and regulations of the other Contracting Party.
