On July 2, Ambassador Chen Bo met with Šefik Džaferović, Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
Chen Bo informed Džaferović on the latest progress made in cooperation of the two countries in all areas. She noted that the Agreement on Visa Exemption for Holders of Ordinary Passports between China and BiH officially entered force, which offered a new incentive for cooperation of the two countries in all areas. With joint efforts of the two sides, a headway in cooperation in the area of road infrastructure can be expected soon. Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises have shown great interest in the aromatic plants industry. Relevant institutions of the two countries are working intensively on increasing export of agricultural products of BiH to China.
Džaferović noted that BiH places development of relations with China on a high position of its foreign policy, appreciates the path of peaceful development and concept of joint victory in cooperation and is dedicated to improving practical cooperation with China in all areas, given that it is in line with BiH’s development interests. The BiH side hails participation of Chinese companies in the economic development of BiH. It will make efforts in creating favorable business climate for foreign partners in cooperation, including Chinese investors.
Džaferović also presented the current political situation in BiH.
