On June 11, Chinese Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Li Fan conducted a visit to the Central Bosnia Canton cities of Busovača and Vitez. Known for their convenient transportation, vibrant commerce, and rich tradition of multiethnic integration, both cities also show a modern spirit of openness and cooperation. Accompanied by Marinko Čavara, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, the delegation explored local streets, factory workshops, and an agricultural products expo, experiencing firsthand the region’s economic and social vitality, the deep friendship between China and BiH, and opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

Participants widely agreed that the trip was a productive and meaningful experience, bringing China and BiH’s local communities closer together while building bridges in industry, culture, and friendship. They expressed hope for more grassroots visits like this in the future to further strengthen local exchanges and jointly open a brighter chapter of mutual benefit and shared development.
