On June 17, Ambassador Li Fan met with the deputy minister of the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Aleksandar Goganović.

Deputy Minister Goganović welcomed Ambassador Li’s assumption of office, stating that China is a reliable and sincere friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emphasized the great potential for bilateral cooperation and expressed willingness to further strengthen military exchanges with China, enhance friendly cooperation, and jointly contribute to regional peace and stability.

Ambassador Li noted that over the past 30 years, China-BiH relations have developed well, with military-to-military ties being an important component of bilateral relations. Cooperation in areas such as disaster response and peacekeeping experience-sharing has continued to deepen. Ambassador Li expressed hope for further strengthening of military cooperation between the two countries, enhancing mutual trust and understanding, and continuing to make new contributions to regional peace and stability.
