On June 25, Ambassador Li Fan met with Director of the National Archives of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ms. Danijela Mrda.

Ambassador Li stated that over the past 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Bosnia and Herzegovina, our cooperation has yieled fruitful results in various fields, with cultural exchanges becoming increasingly close. Last year, the Chinese Embassy and the National Archives of Bosnia and Herzegovina jointly organized a photo exhibition of the film Walter Defends Sarajevo, reviewing this important cultural symbol of China-BiH exchanges and further promoting mutual understanding and cultural connection between the two peoples. China is willingness to strengthen practical cooperation with the National Archives in areas such as historical document preservation, archive restoration, digitalization, and personnel exchanges, in order to elevate archival cooperation to new heights.

Director Mrda expressed gratitude for China's longstanding care and support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's cultural endeavors. She introduced the development history and key work areas of the National Archives and emphasized that the institution highly values cooperation with China. She  expressed willingness to deepen exchanges in areas such as the exchange of archival materials, sharing of professional expertise, and joint exhibition organization, fostering greater mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of both countries regarding each other's history and culture.
