From July 1 to 2, Ambassador Li Fan payed a visit to Banja Luka. She visited local Chinese-funded enterprises, the Confucius Institute of the University of Banja Luka, and met with representatives of the local Chinese community. Counselor Gai Guoqiang accompanied the visit.

At the construction site of the Banja Luka-Prijedor Expressway, undertaken by Shandong Hi-Speed Group, Ambassador Li warmly greeted the management and workers, conducted an on-site inspection of project progress, and carried out a safety inspection. In a discussion with the project leaders, She urged the enterprise to operate in compliance with local laws and regulations, strengthen safety awareness, and encouraged the company to actively contribute to China-Bosnia and Herzegovina friendship.

At the University of Banja Luka, Ambassador Li met with Rector Radoslav Gajanin, visited the Confucius Institute teaching facilities, where she watched Chinese cultural performances by the teachers and students. Ambassador Li emphasized that since its establishment, the Confucius Institute has served as a vital platform in promoting Chinese language education and cultural exchanges between the two countries. She expressed hope that the Institute would continue to organize diverse cultural activities and further contribute to bilateral educational cooperation and cultural exchange.

At the office of the China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Li held a cordial discussion with overseas Chinese representatives, inquiring in detail about their work and living conditions while listening to their suggestions. Ambassador Li fully acknowledged the contributions made by the overseas Chinese community to China-BiH economic cooperation and friendship. She encouraged them to live in peace and contentment, actively integrate into the local society, uphold the spirit of unity and mutual support, and contribute to national reunification and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Ambassador Li assured that the Chinese Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina would continue to wholeheartedly practice the principle of serving the people through diplomacy, always caring for the safety and well-being of the overseas Chinese community.
