On April 21, Ambassador Li Fan met with the newly appointed Director of Sarajevo International Airport, Mr. Dino Selimović. Ambassador Li noted that Chinese tourists are showing growing enthusiasm for visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina, and expressed China's readiness to actively promote cooperation between Chinese airlines and Sarajevo International Airport in order to facilitate people-to-people exchanges.

Mr. Selimović stated that Sarajevo International Airport has recently added a number of new routes and is keen to strengthen cooperation with Chinese airlines to make travel between the two countries more convenient. The two sides also held in-depth discussions on issues including the opening of direct flights between China and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
