On June 8, the openning ceremony of the Research Center on a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity in Bosnia and Herzegovina was held in Sarajevo. More than 300 representatives from political, business, military, and academic circles attended the event, including Mr. Wang Shiting, Secretary-General of the China Research Center for a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity and Party Secretary of China Foreign Affairs University, Ambassador Li Fan of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Marinko Čavara, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mainstream media outlets in Bosnia and Herzegovina provided positive coverage of the event.

Ambassador Wang stated that the establishment of the Research Center has created a new platform for conceptual exchanges, academic cooperation, and people-to-people interactions between China and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He expressed the hope that the Center would integrate Chinese ideas with the realities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, combine academic research with public outreach, and link China–Bosnia and Herzegovina friendship with youth exchanges, thereby producing more substantive, impactful, and meaningful outcomes.

Ambassador Li noted that the establishment of the Research Center marks an important milestone in China–Bosnia and Herzegovina relations and vividly reflects the vigorous development of exchanges and cooperation between the two countries. She expressed the hope that the Center would become an important platform for interpreting, researching, and promoting Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy.
