On September 2, Ambassador Li Fan of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina met with newly appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to Bosnia and Herzegovina Muhammad Irfan.

Ambassador Li welcomed Ambassador Irfan on his assumption of office. She said that China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic cooperative partners and enjoy a time-honored friendship. Bilateral relations have maintained a sound momentum of development. China stands ready to work with Pakistan to implement the important common understandings reached by the leaders of the two countries, further strengthen communication and coordination, make solid progress in all-round, high-level strategic cooperation, and better benefit the two peoples.

Ambassador Irfan spoke highly of the great achievements of Chinese modernization and appreciated China's important contribution to global economic growth through its economic development. He said that Pakistan stands ready to strengthen communication and exchanges with China, deepen practical cooperation in various fields, and promote common development and prosperity of the two countries.

The two sides also exchanged views on the current international and regional situation and issues of common concern.
